The products manufactured by ATEK are designed to be certified by recognized entities. The modular design of the products where each of the modules are themselves certified facilitates and accelerates the certification process.
With several combinations of transmitters and probes possible and a variety of accreditation bodies, it becomes expensive to manage certifications for all of the products offered by ATEK. In addition, knowing the limited end-use applications of the products offered by ATEK, they do not require any particular certification.

ATEK relies on the Construction Code and the interpretation of the Régie du logement du Québec for the marketing of its products in the territory.
its supply voltage is not more than 30 V;
its power does not exceed 100 VA;
it is not a lighting device (light fixture);
it is not an electromedical device;
This is not a hazardous location device; And
This is not a thermostat with a heat anticipation device.
All ATEK products meet these conditions, which allows mandatory approval to be avoided.
The strategy employed by ATEK regarding certifications is to undertake the process only upon a specific request from our customers.
