Data flow

The probe is installed inside the center of the device in order to most accurately read the temperature experienced by the products and under the rack/shelf in order to free up space.

The probe arrives calibrated around the temperature range of the device

An extension connects the probe inside the device to the transmitter located outside.

This extension facilitates probe replacement during annual calibrations

The WIFI transmitter is attached by a magnet to the external wall of the equipment. It is recommended to use the same power outlet for the transmitter power supply to detect electrical faults. The transmitter continues recording and transmitting during a power outage with its built-in rechargeable battery.  

Secure WIFI uses WPA2 Enterprise 802.1X

The WIFI-LTE gateway ensures the transmission of encrypted communications from the transmitter to the ATEK platform. The gateway has a built-in rechargeable battery that ensures communication even in the event of a power outage.

The gateway uses 3G, 4G and 5G network.

The data is hosted and processed in the ATEK cloud infrastructure. The ATEK platform was entirely developed in Canada. It is secure, encrypted and entirely hosted domestically.  

Users have access to data on the ATEK platform via a browser from their phone or computer connected to the internet.
