We inhibit an alert when we want to keep the data recording while avoiding sending notifications.
It is possible to inhibit an alert in anticipation of an action that could trigger an alert. For example, you can inhibit an alert in the following situations:
Equipment Cleaning
De-icing / defrosting
Inventory calculation
Scheduled or anticipated power outage
This prevention helps avoid receiving unnecessary alerts during these common and predictable operations.
It is possible to inhibit an alert in response to a notification received. This stops alert escalation and reschedules the call list at the end of the set time.
When this period expires, notifications are sent according to the following conditions:
If the value is within the thresholds, the alert closes (no additional notification).
If the value is out of threshold, the notification escalation protocol starts from the beginning.
Disabling an alarm will add a note to the logs, indicating the name of the person who performed the action and their comments. This information helps keep track of actions performed and ensures a better understanding of alarm-related events.
Inhibiting an alert only concerns alarms linked to exceeding thresholds .
Inhibiting an alert does not affect the alarms of
Loss of connection or inactivity
Loss of power
Low battery
To deactivate these types of alarms, you must access the "Administration -> Notification Condition" menu and deactivate the condition or remove the transmitter from it.
ACKNOWLEDGE THE ALERT only when the equipment is safe.
